I recently checked the kernel and couldn't find my extended battery mod in it. I will have to go back and check where the mods put it. But it is working because otherwise the device would just constantly reboot.

So to help you understand what is happening. I have had my extended battery now for 1 year and day by day it looses capacity. So after about 200 charge cycles it will be just as good as a new normal battery.

If you want to have your extended battery experience back. Just buy a new one and you will be happy again.

I got a leicke 2300mah not charging on MIUI gb rom with whatever kernel i tried. Arne:how can i test your mod.? In which old kernel is it included?

You need to go back to a very, very old kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=940823
Version 1.8 and lower.

But you will get a constant boot loop if you try because the temperature output is set at something very high for the EB. I just bought a leicke 2300mah and it was not working from the minute I put it in so sent it back. The Origional EB might cost a bit more but at least they work.

Is there anyone who does have experience with dealextreme 2600 mAh battery? And what ROM (especially WPH and Android SD build) is capable of charging it? I've just bought it and I'm curious.
