Just a suggestion to all reporting bugs, I think its beneficial to also include some info about what your using, such as baseband, kernel, lb or non lb.

Im still using trips 1.8.26 stock with baseband 67(smsbb67 patch) and zkernel 405n(no oc, uc, uv), Im still on locked bootloader not ready for the jump yet. Using baseband 67 has given me much more stable data over bb71, and 61 works well too, sms wont work with 65 so not an option.

I would like to upgrade soon to 1.9.2, or 1.9.9 (wait for the repack), but I dont want to lose all my data. Of my three options what sounds best? Titanium pro batch restore, MIUI backup, or xrecovery advanced data restore?

Great to see that MIUI made it over to Xda, thanks for continuing this after Trip took a break.

Only problems after several hours:
Wifi drops randomly --> Turned off Firewall, no more problems.
No Screen on/off animation
Screen will randomly turn on with full brightness after locking
Phone can't transform into a Transformer

That's about it, absolutely terrific rom, I LOVE it. MIUI is great.

Bugs(other than those on OP) after 6 hrs usage:
1. Auto backlight doesnt work.
2. After screen off delay, LCD turns off for a few secs and then turns back on full brightness for 2 secs before locking the screen.

On stock kernel, bootloader still locked and BB 71. Amazingly smooth and stable ROM after a few reboots. Thanks a lot.

I am currently running 1.9.2 from Miui forums.
Was looking for 1.9.9...

Thank you :)

I will let you know how things go.

The only issue I have is I find it hard to get Signal in some areas.. prob kernel related,

3g data disconnections is due to the wifi.ko module, replacing it with one from a rom that works with your phone will fix this issue. And yes the wifi.ko and data are related. Root works fine, but you need to enable it in superuser settings
I think it should be posted on the first page as this question is asked often

Erenz testing,

very good, just one thing, include the debug.sf.hw=1 to build.prop, it will makes the launcher much more smooth.

Okay bug report, i can use 3g without a problem but when switching to 2g I get no data? This is the first time I've noticed the problem as I'm mostly in a 3g area so my phone is on 3g only

I hope that Erenz don´t mind.

    MIUI 1.9.16 is ready! =D

I ported the modifications from the latest N1 build to the Erenz build, also included the optimization (improved a little).

    The known bug are:

-MIUI camera - Flash don't work (to be fixed asap)
-Screen gets bright before turn off ( if automatic brightness on use the DIM level on 20 this resolve the problem)
    -Portable Hotspot
-Built-in Screen Capture (caused dark screen for a while)

Screen coming on full brightness before turning off -- SOLVED!!

    Hi,

    Use this setting:

Settings --> Personal --> Display Settings

    Brightness --> Advanced mode

Light Levels --> Use custom ON

Light Level to dim --> set 20 (default)

    And Voilà problem fixed.:D

Works in Miui v1.9.2 and v1.9.9.

Max Brightness after turning off screen fix

    1.Download this lights.es209ra.so.zip HERE

2.Extract, place lights.es209ra.so in your root folder on SDCARD

3.Using root explorer, copy that file to system/lib/hw

    4.Set permissions as per normal:
    XX
    X
    X

    5.Reboot

Now the phone shouldn't go to full brightness after locking it!

I am currently using this MIUI rom, and far away is the best.

For everybody that says that MIUI is laggy, MIUI is slow, MIUI is crappy.....

I make a optimization xrec zip just improving some things.

Install, fix permissions and clear dalvik cache.

    Bye!
