I guess it will become smoother as we get rid of the bugs but I don't think that it will be as smoott as the lite version. Maybe it will someday be like Sense 3.0/5 but I'm not sure.
It will be smooth when m10 tools get updated, it's the phone loading qHD images that's causing the lag

As you may have seen, Camera doesn't work on any Sense 4 (not matter if it's the lite or full version) Rom for devices without kernel 3. As I already said in the OP, once the DHD will get kernel 3 (e.g. with a leak of the ICS update), the camera most propably will work. Before that, I don't think it will work...

Camera won't work until your Desire Z gets a leak/official/ported kernel 3, no matter what happens to the DHD

For anyone who can't get the rom to boot, use this kernel. Flash the rom then flash the kernel. It removes undervolting which can cause problems on some devices. Hope it helps!

I think we have a chance to get the DHD kernel at least booting on our DZ. You jaust have to modify the Ramdisk (which I've already done for some other Roms I ported but never released)...
The question is if the DHD camera drivers in the kernel will work on the DZ

Default Boots on my G2-tmobile

Just an quick update - this boots on my G2 (T-mobile). The system seems real slow, in doing an 'adb shell', if I run the 'top' command emmc-qd eats up about 9% of my cpu. Even idle (ie not doing anything) I see System usage at about 10-20%, User from 1-15%.

While just trying to navigate, if the screen goes off it seems to just lag. I have attached a logcat output of this, it is werid the system seems dead (power doesn't do anything) but the notification bar is there (just noticed it hasn't been updated for 7 minutes).....looks 'adb reboot' time.

Update: After running for about 4 hours, RAM averages around 35-45Meg Free (according to Temp+CPU V2). Other than what else is reported, it seems to run.

Quinny released an update of the DHD rom. I'll port it tomorrow. So the next release will be in one or two days (depending on time and upload speed....).
EDIT: DL link of DHD rom is temporarely down, I have to wait until it is up again.
