Some questions regarding updating my device via source code of old android version
Hi all, I am trying to update my device GT-S7562 (galaxy s duos).
I have rooted it, downloaded android sdk (and latest system images via sdk manager).
I also downloaded the source code (GT-S7562_ICS_Opensource_Update1.zip) from opensource . samsung . com.
I also have (android-ndk-r7-linux-x86.tar.bz2) ...
I just want to update the device to 4.3 (from 4.0.4) .. and I am too confused right now.
1)this site www . sammobile . com /firmwares/ has many firmwares for my mobile. I already downloaded the source from opensource . samsung . com . Are they different from what I have? Do I need them. Also if I need, there are many files for my country(india). How do I know which one I should use.
2) is stock recovery sufficient when I build the update or I have to use CWM.
Thanks in advance.
