You neednt bother coz kernel is included in the flashable zip by quarx.
Just flash away like any other rom.
If you have disabled the memory management tweaks people have talked about a few pages back and you still have battery drain then it is probably an app you have installed. So try a fresh install with data wipe, install very few apps from play store.

Flashed 18.10 build, Guess this is so far the fastest rom ive used and battery life is super cool. But cpu was set 1ghz, dint make any changes after flashing the rom. Is that normal, i see some people here say they have the cpu set at 1.1ghz by default. But Rom is blazing fast, no reboots no lags... videos playback is cool

Hm, I wouldn't be so sure about this as many people are reporting batty drain who didn't have it on previous builds without a custom kernel.

You should also include the modules ".ko" coz if Quarx makes changes to them they will be needed

How come you get more than 1000 score in 3D?.. I only get around ~500 in my Defy.. but I/O & CPU is higher so total gets near 1600 etc.
Are you using any different 3D drivers? I am still seeing Open GL ES CM 1.1 under system properties.. is it correct or IIRK, i thought this build has advanced 3D libraries for supporting open GL 2.0 support?

try install without wipe cache and dalvik. install rom 18.10 reboot and after install update. without delete data

128I appreciate some of the comments here about the difficulty of keeping threads like this cleaned and organized, especially with so many users not following instructions. However, this is the job I signed up for, so it's not a big deal.
That being said, since nothing else seems to be working, I'm going to temporarily close this to force people to use the other support threads for this ROM. If you have a legitimate bug to report and serious question that needs answering, use the support threads (an absolute last resort would be PMing the developer).
