Oxygen 2.3 ROM

Since the developers website was closed I hard a very hard time finding a mirror for this rom. I justice figured ill share my discovery.

Yes its a Gingerbread ROM. So remember you'll need 2.3 gapps.

2.3.2 is the last one, and I posted a Nexus S box.com mirror from my personal account last week. Don't have NS4G though.

Pretty sure you don't need gapps installed on this ROM correct me if I'm wrong

I did. I just bought an Iphone 5 in October since my iPhone 4 when I thought my nexus got wet. But yeah, Im still around town like lion on prometh.

how to downgrade from jelly bean 4.1.2 stock rom ( root + cwm ) to oxygen 2.3 ? i have to flash gb stock first or just full wipe + flash directly oxygen from CWM ?

thanks for posting.. i just looked at the wayback machine today for oxygen forums and it seems to have disappeared so I was uploading the 2.3.2 build for NS4G as we speak.. ill add a mirror in a few.

Ah yes the launcher has that hard coded. I guess swapping it for the 2.3.1 launcher would work. Now to find 2.3.1 though! D:

So here is a fix for anyone tired by the Welcome to Oxygen! message when the launcher starts/restarts.

Took 2.3.1 launcher2.apk and made a flashable zip you can flash in recovery. If you feel like it you can replace the apk manually in /system/app too. Permissions 0644.

Gonna nand and give this a shot now. I'll report back

Edit: seems to have worked but now missing features from the stock launcher on 2.3.2 such as changeable hot seats and 5 icons. Either way thanks it's damn smooth
