Despite having the nice physical keyboard (the whole reason I got the Epic) I still got used to using Swype here or there. I don't think I will be allowed to link this file here but you can find it on "certain" sites.
Thanks, this is great to have all in one place :good: though I see no solution on the first post for swype;

The other option is a bit more involved if coming from cm 9 or cm 10. From what I recall the app Swype came with cm 7.2.0
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=stable&device=epicmtd
So flash back to cm 7 make a back up of the app with ROM toolbox or titanium backup
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox
Or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup
Then flash back to the ROM that you prefer and restore the backed up app.
I did this with a few other apps like the vudu controls and had no problems with restoring Swype on cm 9.
To the OP; once confirmed by others feel free to add this to your post so new readers don't have to scroll through pages to get Swype back.
Has anyone noticed the physical keyboard doesn't always work the same? In some places, you have to hold down shift or Fn while pressing the key you want (for example - hold shift while pressing A, rather then pressing shift then pressing A). It's not consistent - some inputs work like the keyboard did before. Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this. Not the worst thing (I'm just glad I still have a physical keyboard), but I would prefer it work the way it did before, or if that's not possible, at least be consistent.
