[UnORom][4.4.4] CarbonRom for Sensation [29 July][Final]

The cam is broken, like other 4.3 ROMs...
You just mean focal right? Stock cam works fine with focal disabled.

1. When going through the initial setup, I couldn't scroll down to see the advanced settings for WIFI. I had to press the back button for the keyboard to disappear so I could see the settings hidden behind it. I've never seen this before on any AOSP-based ROM.
2. I don't know if this is a feature or a bug but the status bar is not transparent if I set a custom wallpaper for the lockscreen. It is transparent if I set it to "Default wallpaper".
EDIT: Setting a separate wallpaper for the lockscreen also seems to disable the transparency settings found in "Interface" on the "Carbon Fibers" menu. They seem to be completely ignored as long as the lockscreen wallpaper is anything other than Default.
3. Touching any part of the screen while recording a video will cause the app to freeze. If you touch the image field it will take a photo which can be seen in the Gallery but the video is not saved. If you touch the recording button, it just freezes and fails to record/save both video and photo.

PS. okay, rebooted it and ringtone was there, hehe. it's flying now, but have problem with randomly flickering statusbar

Try to delete 2 video sound in system/media/audio/ui and you can record a 1080p video clips with over 1 minute( stock camera) without crash. I've tried and worked fine here.

I flash this ROM form morning till the night, its running smooth and great, no force close and an annoying major lags.
Just one bug i think is the WIFI signal look not great, I'm pretty sure my room have a great WIFI signal, but in this ROM, there a blank signal, no connection
hope the next release will fix it. anyway this a great ROM. well done and thank you very much devs. :victory:

Try flashing android1234567's latest kernel on this rom. See if it solves your wifi problem.
Make sure you nandroid before hand.
I plan to release a new rom hopefully today but that is mostly upstream changes from CarbonRom

The release might not happen tonight... i am waiting for @bruce2728 to push his changes before i do the new build.
I want to play a bit with camera and release it together.
Running Sultan kernel r24.5 undervolted to -9% Plus with softswap and noticed a huge performance boost right away. Usually have between 200mb and 350mb of free ram and a bit better battery life from the UVing. Highly recommend.

Just something i've noticed further to the wifi signal bug above,
The wifi does indeed have signal but sometimes the signal bars of the wifi and mobile network in the status bar will go blank for no reason, even though there is actually signal.
hope that makes sense to you.

The current nightlies server is non other than my laptop which is working day (for development) and night (for nightlies). It is getting low on space day by day with every new rom that I am trying. Currently nightlies are built in an external drive connected with USB3.
If you really think this project is a good effort, please consider funding towards a good build server that I could use for nightlies and towards the cost for maintaining the download servers. I do not want to put ads for supporting this project if you guys will chip in a bit.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions for supporting this project.
