You should check the status of your phone also. Go to Settings, About Phone, Status. If it shows modified, you won't be able to receive OTA updates. If it shows "normal" then you should be good to go.

Sometimes even if it says "normal" your counter may have increased. Power down your phone. Hold Vol Down, Home and Power Button. If your settings are as below, you should be good with OTA updates.

One question. In download mode It shows the same as above, but in about phone, status it shows modified. In order to receive OTA update what do I need to do.

I am on stock rooted ROM only no custom recovery.

Install triangle away, scroll to the bottom and check "system modified workaround". phone will reboot. check status again. if all is good, go back into triangle away, and uncheck "system modified workaround". your status should stay normal.
