Could you tell me which commit hash did you made a working compilable kernel?

Yeah, no idea why. Took 36 kernel builds and mostly manual bisecting of the commit history, divide and conquer and so on and so on :) Debugging wifi now.

Protip: If you want wifi, you have to enable it in the kernel config... :p

i can't wait ... for this kernel. it's the only thing missing to rule z1 nightly on our compact


one thing, in few days ago, i installed ftf stock rom from c6903 in my d5503 and installed stock kernel from compact by fastboot. and the rom booted successfully without any issue then i changed dpi to 320 by rootexplorer.
So z1 and z1 compact are fully compatible except the kernel !

please use pimped kernel source from z1. it's the best kernel on cm11 now.

Everything is working using Honami build, wifi too! We are soooooo lucky since Z1 is oficially maintained by Cyanogenmod and our Z1C can use CM from Z1 with some tiny modifications :good: What we can say? Great !

Edit:
bluetooth is not working - probably since I used kernel moduules from Honami build :)

BT is working too! If some one want to try CM11 using oficial Honami build here is instruction:

1. download Honami build
2. use files from archive -> http://d-h.st/Qsd -> replace files in Honami zip
3. wipe data factory reset
4. format system partition
5. install zip
6. enjoy (on your own risk ofcorse :)) unoficial Honami -> Amami build :D

I will wait MIUI based on android 4.3 to play with them on stock rom, will not play with CM since my opinions is: stock rom and all roms based on stock is better than CM :)

:D Glad that some developers also share my sentiment :p I always prefer stock over AOSP or CM any day lol! Still trying to find out the reason how the udelays cause the issue though... :D I won't stop until I know!

Anyways... For curiosity's sake... :D Do you think this would also work on Xperia Z2 system dump? :p Xperia Z2 also uses xhdpi, same camera, processor is a little bit different but I know it's still cross compatible since I have first hand experience on this between S4 & HTC One which also has AA & AB difference of processor.

Meh can't wait for kernel source code of Z2....

CM11 experimental available

Hello Folks,

there is a experimental build available at cyanogenmod.org

download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=amami

with browser it showed a 404-error. Maybe caused by my no-script settings.
It worked for me with

wget <linkstuff>/get/jenkins/62068/cm-11-20140314-EXPERIMENTAL-amami.zip

    You want to revert commit 4506a7feeaf02d272c518783cdac680bbd8aa312 as this one breaks the display. Everything except wifi is working :)

    Kernel is done
    device tree is done
    vendor setup is done
    Android sources currently downloading
