BlueStacks DOES work.
Make sure you installed all updates on your me400c. install bluestacks. the run this registery file:

can anyone with a ME400C get live update to run? mines says im not connected to the internet when i clearly am.

The first part seems easy but the second part in the layers part doesnt exist on my me400c? Ok after installing the reg file I saw on Bluestacks webpage I got it running, however I cannot complete the one time setup therefore cant install any apps, i click the continue button but nothing happens, oh well

I've own one, you can find there are an option in Market.

Just open your Market, swipe the Charm bar, press setting, choose Preference, turn off both option, DONE

Now you will see all x86 windows apps

Just run this batch on your ME400 is okay.

I have owned 3. The app choices SUCK on winphone. The multitasking is CRAP on winphone. Winphone is the OS for single minded one process at a time simpletons

This thread is about a FULL Windows 8 tablet, not windows phone.
You can install and use all programs you can also use on your desktop computer, including the Windows 8 ModernUI apps.


Anyway, I have tried bluestacks, it works fine for normal apps but games aren't working. Probably missing 3D acceleration?
The GPU is full directX9 SM3.0 + OpenGL 2.0 capable. But there is no DX10 support by the driver.
