That still does not make sense.
Either I am undervolting or I am not!
If I tune an engine, if i tune it rich,I get excess emissions, loss of power, and over heating.
If I run an engine lean,I get loss of power, and over heating (and sh##ty emissions too, but for a different reason)
The dvfs file clearly says; that when I choose, 825mV, I'm choosing between 926mV and 825mV (for the 300mhz setting), so why are you bullying me!
PS English is not my strongest forte, and Swype doesn't always help.
Pps don't be shy to answer my questions either!

Swyped from 'Lazarus' a mere mortal super deluxe Majuro.
modern cars have an ecu that's constantly adjusting the air fuel ratio based on certain readings. if it notices nock it pulls timing for example. the ecu has parameters in it that were programmed to tell it when to lean it out or rich it out. you can change the paramenters and on average the car will run leaner or richer. but it doesn't mean that the car is always running rich or always running lean.
so same here. it's not binary anymore - either i'm undervolting or not. (yes/no 1 or a 0)
it's a range. and we're just adjusting the maximum that we'll let the voltage ramp up to.
am I understanding you right that you think we should be adjusting the minimum as well or instead of the maximum to let the voltage decrease lower?
if so, in on post Franco said there is a minimum y, and then Franco agreed we the other guys post that said the low is not a minimum y but rather the lowest the kernel can operate at.

I have had SUB 2 hour battery life for the last month+
After doing a complete wipe and re installing M4 with 98 and black exodus:
i literally spent as much time on it as possible just because i couldn't believe the difference in battery.
so you changed ALL the variables and your battery life changed. interesting. it would have actually meant something if you only changed 1 variable, preferrably the kernel since this is the kernel thread, and battery life changed. but as long as it's sorted out now, that's great, but doesn't tell us what caused the change.
