Hey guys ,

BETA Version LIVE
Official Thread HERE

I got G3's stock ROM Booting on Optimus G,

Most of the things are not working ATM , but that can be fixed ,

Working :
- Boots (Meh :p)
- Radio (2g/3g) (LTE not tested as i don't have yet in my country)
- Camera (Lg G2 camera app)
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- Audio
- Sensors (All)

Not Working :
- Radio (2g/3g/LTE) (Fixed)
- Camera (Fixed )
- Bluetooth (Fixed)
- Some apps gets FC
- Not sure about stuff which i haven't tested


I may port from scratch differently to fix the bugs , but i don't guarantee of that (Done ;) )

i just posted here to inform you guys about the port & you can easily track the progress ,

will make thread in Dev section when it's usable somewhat (No ETAs please) :)

PS : Expect a BETA Version soon.

I looked the logs for RIL , Bluetooth & & all other , it seems the way i ported the ROM is creating the problem , too much mismatch of libs causes Bluetooth / some apps to FC , i 'll port from scratch using another way. but before porting from scratch , i'll give this port another try & try to fix the bugs , Let's see how it goes tonight , will keep you guys updating :)

Alright , as i said , i have ported this again from scratch & it boots ,
Force close of apks have been fixed .
I am trying hard to fix RIL & Bluetooth but no luck yet ... I doubt that i'll need to modify framework files for this bugs ..
i'll keep trying for this,
If you can help or know someone who can help then do let me know.

finally ....RIL FIXED :D
check out the attached screen shot.
still a lot of stuff to be fixed ... hope i'll be able to figure that out soon :)

Progress ;)

* Fixed stock camera on G3 port
* Fixed Brightness & Auto Brightness issue
* Fixed LGBrowser Crashing

Now only Bluetooth left to be fixed for calling this a stable port ;)

There may be some LG App crashing due to "hardware not supported".
like LgMyWellness.apk requires "Step Counter and Step Detector Sensor" & we don't have that on Optimus G
and it's hard to port Lg G3 camera as well because our device can't capture 4K videos & all.

i'll release this after fixing bluetooth , for now , i am out of idea for fixing bluetooth.

Thanks to @RohanAJoshi for his fix for ARTMod roms.. i implemented that in this port & it works like a charm

I'll most probably upload the ROM tomorrow ,as i am busy for 4-5 days after tomorrow , so m gonna publish first BETA version tomorrow :)

did you took framework-res.apk from my mod or you just replaced storage xml file in original apk ?

I'm using ARTmod 5.2.2, and I saw your port rom yesterday. I think your project is perfect for Geeb. But, while we are waiting for stable version, I want to ask you if you can give me g2 camera that you ported for geeb. I'm really like this. So, if you can, please post a link and show me how to install to stock ARTmod. Thanks for your attention. And sorry for my bad English. :)

Bug report. Bluetooth doesnt work if you are using ART runtime. With dalvik it works fine.

Edit: sorry delete this post. Wrong thread.
