Why would you post a random post with 2 codes and zero details which requires a Google search to understand what you are asking and then expect a reasonable response?

The code is for the Nexus docking station BTW. It took a search to find out.

I would assume it has something to do with the country/region the dock is being sold in. I say this because for the Samsung Captivate, the Canadian model was the i896 and the American version was i897.

Or I could be completely wrong.
