Success - root Sero 7 lt
Share some experience in rooting a refirbished Sero 7 lt with procedures from orginal post. System updated when first turn on Sero 7. Turn on USB debug mode and connect to win 7-32 PC, immediately recognised as E270BSA in Device Manager. No problem in loading media files to Sero 7. For rooting, download Snappea, but failed to connect Sero 7 with Snappea on the first couple of tries. As a last resort, I downloaded Cydiaimpactor, and connect to Sero 7. Tap "Scan Driver", and the program requests to load drivers, granted (Snappea was still runing), and all of a sudden, Snappea was able to connect to Sero 7. Once connection between Snappea and Sero 7 is established, I reloaded Cydiaimpactor again, and tap "Start" button. Root success. Check with Root Checker, and install Superuser.
I want to move some software to the external SD card. Is there a way to do it without installing Link2sd? since that requires partitioning the external SD card and wiping out all installed files.
