Been on beans for a while now and recently noticed the display not toasting checked setting to make sure it was on and re dirty flashed rom still doesn't work. Anyone else have this happen?

Just tried clean install wiping and all and still no rotation?

Edit...battery pull and smacked back of inside of phone issue resolved :)

Tethering and phone calls dropping

Just switched to Jelly Beans, so far it's pretty good, Having an issue where i will have mobile hot spot on and if i try to make a call it will ring about 3 times and the call ends, at the same time the 4g icon goes away but the bars stay blue. Anyone else having this issue?

Also a feature request.... I came from CarbonRom, and i was able to configure the buttons, long press back to recent apps, home button long press = googlenow. it's a pain to press and hold home, then tap Google. or is there an app i can download that can do this?

Long press menu for direct Google Now from the home screen.

(Not to say I wouldn't like to see configurable buttons, would be a cool feature)

New Bugs

Alright just wanted to post some new bugs I have been frequently seeing.


  1. Screen Auto Rotate does not function as it should. Only works maybe 10% of the time. Toggling option sometimes works.
  2. Major loop bug with Samsung Disclaimer - S Voice. System starts chirping and infinite loop auto opens and auto closes the disclaimer.
  3. Major loop bug with Samsung Disclaimer - Driving Mode. System starts chirping and infinite loop auto opens and auto closes the disclaimer.
  4. S-Note has loading / closing issues. Main issue is that it refuses to close and it becomes difficult to navigate to the home screen.
  5. Notification bar toggle icons count changes by itself. In Aroma I set 5 yet sometimes when I pull down I will have 8. May be related to Xposed Tweakbox overriding Aroma presets.

Is it possible to find the Throttle manager and kill it? Verizon has hidden this somewhere where it polls your data usage but this also had the side effect to cause your connect to become intermittent or seem to "hang" while it's active.

In the settings secure there's a throttle rest days. and in the data/system/throttle folder there's stats. No matter what you do (block the permissions etc) the throttle manager will still kick in. Your rom is great but this thing alone is going to just make me switch to a 7105 base without Verizon garbage inside that keeps my phone awake.

I can't speak for driving mode cause I don't really use it but the rest of what you have listed all works fine for me. Have you tried booting recovery and clearing cache/dalvik and fixing permissions? Did u clean flash or dirty flash?

Agreed I have ZERO of those issues. This rom is rock solid for me. I have restored this rom twenty times this week because nothing has been working better then it. And battery has been absolutely fantastic

I did a full clean flash. I am on build 13 at the moment. Everything has been wiped clean. Auto rotate bug has been present for a few builds now. The Samsung infinite loop disclaimer alert is specific to this.

The only issue I have is an odd one and probably not the rom. I have widget locker and on every reboot it asks me to set the default launcher when I go to unlock and I have to hit widget locket. Doesn't ask again till reboot. I don't have this issue with the same setup on Jedi. Strange. I imagine though that if I did a fresh clean install it wouldnt be there.

I feel like this is a 4.1.1 issue. Next launcher always asks me that too lol time to freeze all other launchers

Sounds like a bad flash. I would say try doing a clean flash. Every issue you are having works fine for me. A few builds back my toggle icons were screwed up like yours but re flashed and it was fine.

I have done a clean re-flash of it. I am going to bump up to build 14 today and will see how that runs.

All of these bugs are on and off and unless you play with your phone a ton I would never notice them. They randomly will occur and go away. Auto rotate, and S-Pen app however is ALWAYS an issue.

The infinite disclaimer loop has only happened 3 or 4 times and is very random. I noticed the S-Voice disclaimer popping up when returning to home, this may be related to S-Voice being triggered via double home button click but a single click was triggering it.

The Driving Mode disclaimer was only present this morning. I have never seen this one but it is identical to the S-Voice disclaimer loop.

The toggle icons are not either one way or the other but are constantly changing. One time it will be the 5, the next time it will be 8 (I have a total of 8 set so if I have more maybe it will be even higher than that). This like I said though is most likely due to Tweakbox since I am running it to get a semi-transparent notification bar.

    Make Sure You Have a Custom Recovery

    Wipe all(factory reset and davlick wipe) if coming from an old build

    build 23 based off mj9 is finally in progress :) sorry for the long delay between releases there wasnt much more i could do with 4.1.2 :p and between the note3 and the holidays i was kinda tied up for a bit there...

    its still a wip for sure at this point but give it a couple days and magic will happen ;) :D
