[Q] Need advice on low data speed issue.
Alright so at this point I don't know what to do and I'm frustrated with tmobile. I'll try to fill you in on all the details and hopefully it all makes sense.
This has been going on for two month's now. At home I get avg. Of 0.01 - 0.2 mbps when I run a speed test. Now my phone witch was a t989 at the time has 4G and full bars. Now I have the note 3 and still have the same issue. Also at my job I get a avg. Of 20 mbps, also my girlfriends HTC amaze uprooted never touched has the same issue only at our home. Now that should tell you that it is not phone that is the problem or me being throttled. As I have seen and been told by a tmobile rep I'm in a strong coverage area and this should not be happening. When asked how long this has been going on I can only say I don't really know. I used wifi all the time. Now that I don't have wifi anymore I have been using my data instead. (Last billing cycle I had used 40gb).
This has been what is going on when I call tmobile. I tell them the issue they have me do stuff to my phone that doesn't do anything to help the problem. Then they tell me they will send out someone and have this figured out in 72 hours. I give the week call back and they tell me there guy said it's fixed. I tell them no and we start this all over again. I have been doing this for 7 weeks now. I'm sick of doing the same thing over and over and nothing happening. I'm not going to stop because after all I'd like to be able to use my phone at my own house and not have to be at work for it to work.
If that makes sense to you, has anyone seen and or know of this type of issue and how to fix it?
