[TUTORIAL] Screen freezing after unlock problem solution

Here is step by step guide
DONT FORGET TO BACKUP
1. Make a goldcard using tutorial in this thread
2. Unrar attached file to the root of Goldcard
3. Power off phone, boot to bootloader with volume down and power button pressed
4. Wait for while it will search for files
5. Then a screen will show up like
Power => Reflash
Vol-Dn => DIAG
6. Press Volume Down for Diag
7. You will see a screen asking you to put phone on a flat surface, do what it says
8. Once that is done you will see a menu about Clear S58 Data, Ignore it, pull the battery and reboot
9. Repair is done, problem should be solved now

This is my first tutorial for XDA, so any suggestions are welcome

I found strange results. I have to change digitizer, after that, only 10% of touchscreen worked (only on edges). I used this calibration procedure, and now, my digitizer works on 90%. It means, there is vertical 10mm unresponsive stripe in the middle of the screen. Tried to re-position flex cable, without success. I did calibration maybe 5 times. Any ideas?

I try but i have one problem, not possible to make goldcard because usb debbuging is not enabled. Not possible to enable because old touchscreen is trash and news don't work...

I have two wildfire S touchscreen broken. The broke touchscreen work before i remove. I replace by news but don't works. I buy four touchscreen at different supplier but don't work. I have this problem with two wildfire S.

Hard reset do nothing.

I try this soluce but not possible to make goldcard with Simplegoldcard or with adb command ( adb shell cat /sys/class/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:*/cid ) = phone not found...

Its wildfire S branded orange france.


Have u one solution please.

I found solo and ITS WORKEd!!


For get cid without touchscreen, just run this update (RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_Europe_2.13.401.3_Radio_47.23c.35.3037_7.54.39.28M_release_236989_signed.exe) BUT ONLY the one step, not click next... and the wildfire go on android device in device manager and Simplegoldcard reconize my htc.
Now one wildfire s work fine, i try other tomorrow...
