Had the same issue. It's 8.1... 7.8.6 works fine. Just tested.

Multiple versions lately maps has been hit and miss. I get a GPS lock but freezes on this screen... Thoughts?

Generic suggestion: Wipe data from app. Reboot recovery, wipe cache/dalvik, fix permissions.

Won't hurt a thing and might fix the issue. Always my first steps and it normally solves the problem.

I've done all that before posting I know the basics... :p

If I hit just directions they pop right up. I just get a constant spinning circle saying waiting for location despite an obvious gps lock when choosing navigation.

I've been running SS v2.1 (LS8)without issue since Sho released it. Is 2.5.1 LSD really that much different as far as smoothness and battery? Just looking for an opinion since I'm not sure if I'm up for setting everything up again.

I did full wipe of data and system, installed latest release 2.5.1, and I am getting the same issue after a day or so. Also worth mentioning is that the os itself has issues reading storage since uninstalling apps doesnt work.


Edit, seems ok after reboot. Last time multiple reboot did not fix. That's good i guess....

I can recreate issue by clearing any apps data.

Hey Shoman... i was running version 2.1 before this release. it was working fine. used to get few issues in wifi / wifi direct. i downloaded 2.5.1, flashed it... rebooted the phone after successful installation... but the phone booted into recovery mode... powered off phone, n switched it on back.... still same problem... flashed 2.1 again n it worked fine... again tried flashing 2.5.1, n got same issue again... its rebooting in recovery mode.... the file is 409 mb... so i don't think its a incomplete download issue... any suggestions?

Happens to me too. XDA and Picsart. I have to move them back to phone every time I update them.

I think i fixed by erasing USB storage. I guess i might have had some corrupted data or illegal characters or something

So I tried to use the time this morning on the clock app and it's force closing. I think I remember seeing a fix for this issue earlier but after an hour of looking through the thread I still can't find it. Anyone remember how to fix this problem?

Hey Sho, great ROM. I'm having problems taking screenshots. I could never get it to work on ShoStock2 and it still doesn't work on ShoStock3.

I've tried pressing home+power but it doesn't do anything.

Any other solutions?


EDIT: Did some searching and found out that you actually have to long press them together not just a quick push.

Feature Request: I would like to see the ability to toggle the display of the AM/PM text in the status bar, as well as the alarm icon and the mute/vibrate icon.

Would this be possible?

Hacked Stock Kernel (XXLSJ) -- Thanks to PhilZ for his patched stock kernel and recovery (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1877270) and Entropy512 for his MicSwap patch and instructions on zImage packaging (http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=22889718&postcount=26). Please note that for this kernel we are working without source, so certain functionality/features will not be implemented. This is temporary until the official JB kernel source is dropped from Samsung.
