I've had my phone long enough that I am no longer on contract with Verizon.

I have been checking coverage maps and talking to lots of people who use the phones and it seems my only viable options in my area if I want good coverage are: AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. I know AT&T and Verizon lock down the bootloaders. I know nothing about Sprint's policies. Coverage map looks good in my area and the areas I travel to and from. I would gladly switch to Sprint to avoid locked bootloaders.

Any input?
