no, dont edit the zip.

just becarefullthat your download worked properly.
if radio.img is messed up, it could brick your phone.

So if I can open the main froyo zip with unrar without errors it means it's ok to flash (radio included)?

YES, you can now flash this over your custom ROM.
Just WIPE!
and check md5.

I know I'm suppose to revert to shipping. Then apply er27. Can I just flash a nandroid back up? I'm a noob sorry.
