Question [Q] How to build Android 4.0.4_r2.1 from source /w official Samsung source

Hi folks,

i am new to android development and I successfully compiled 'full-eng' for testing.

Is it possible to build 'android-4.0.4_r2.1' with the official Samsung opensource 'GT-I9100_ICS_Opensource_Update4.zip' package or do I need (to code) something more?
On github I just found some older "android_device_samsung" repositories and the one for CM9.

I did not find any guide in the S2 and Android forums (just one for compiling CM9).

The samsung readme give only the instructions to add two more libs and overwrite the 'full-eng' folders if wanted.

A guide or some tipps would be awesome, because compiling took 6+ hours on my computer.

thanks in advance

All you would have to do is copy the proprietary files from latest cm9 rom and use the kernel from cm9. I'll create a tutorial tommorow if I'm up to it.
