Seem like the host is down. I just factory reset and found out I'ven't kept apk.
I erased my last version of this post because the app now has a Google Drive link. Go check the first post again.

Top 5 reasons to root your OUYA?
I literally just got my OUYA an hour ago so I'm tentative about messing with it this soon. I've been rooting and flashing ROMS onto my Android phones for a few years so am familiar with the process but I'm not familiar with what the benefits of rooting the OUYA would be??
Please convince me to root!!!

Hey guys I haven't bought mine yet, but I was wondering what version of the play store will be loaded? Is it a full phone or tablet version or like the Google TV version that has barley anything.

Sideload means I need to install the apk from a SD or Thumbdrive USB? Or I can download it on the same browser and install it from Ouya downloads folder?

Steps:
- Sideload the apk
- Click "Start Root"

you can adb wirelessly(without usb cable) if you enable the adb tcpip mode2
There is a tutorial for. [UPDATE] The above apks didn't give me the proper adb since I was on LAN instead on WLAN; this app did however: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wmendez.adbovertcp it worked perfect. I connected via adb from my tablet to my OUYA LAN IP (it was displaying the WLAN IP and that doesn't work if you're on LAN (newest OUYA update auto turns off wifi when an Ethernet cable is plugged in).
