Up one step on OC from 691 to 710 and no panic yet. Conservative gov seems fine for now. I`ll try moving apps to sd.

So as with the new build we should delete
-remount scirpts
-v6supercharger and minfreehandler scripts
-Juwe11's Ram optimsation script and kickasskernilizer
- and also andy's tweaks in his phoenix rom?
Since you have the values written in the kernel...am I right?
- Other changes to improve stability of the system - random reboots should be fixed

I'm not answering stupid questions, this is a testing build, test it and report back with useful feedback.
Moved apps to sd using cachesd command in terminal emulator and everything went ok. Then moved all remaining bits and pieces from apps, one by one, entirely to sd card using Apps2sd app and got bootloops. For some of those i had shortcuts created. So maybe that was the cause.
Dirty ratio = 2
Dirty background ratio = 1
Aren't this too low for flash memory

I can deadly confirm this and have used 2 whole weeks in August/Sep to test:
whether in mik 6.5.7 + franco 19.4 (.32)
or
mik 6.6.1 + franco v1.1 (.35)
(ive only tested on the above so may also happen in other ROMs)
Optimus One + Darktremor 2.7.5.2-1 Move apps to EXT + Move apps to FAT
= bootloop of bootanimation
so its ok, just let them stay in "phone" while no need to move "all" of them to FAT
doesnt quite related to kernel / not a big problem though
No. Don't change those values or it will ruin my setup. I'll explain everything when this **** is released as final.
About people having hangs when playing games, lower your overclock, it will fix it.
So far the feedback is very good, keep it coming.

i didnt want to complain about lags when i test with coin dozer as i thought it is natural for our phones but wow... omg downclocking to 600 WORKS...!
lol this is too fantastic and may i please know why?
the thought of "OC=smoothier gameplay" has been in my mind for a year....

I didnt really see a need for overclocking nowadays, 748mhz and 600mhz have a little difference in terms of performance

@voyager
yea exactly!!! the same symptom as yours!!
take a look at my sad thread before.. haha!

and i finally figured out moving most apps back to "phone" solved the problem!! lol how pathetic i used 2 weeks to **** myself trying to find out the solution

Yes don't bother trying I've locked it tight within the kernel source, I don't want it to be changed from my setup since it's already optimized enough.
Having higher OC doesn't mean you'll get smoother gameplay if your phone doesn't handle OC very well. This kernel already has FSB/BUS overclock, that alone is enough to provide smoother usage with 480/600 than the stock kernel.
#4
* Added 652, 672, 691, 710 cpu frequencies
* Doubled busses frequencies - system will go faster but you'll possible lose some overclocking capabilities. Busses frequency OC > cpu OC.
* Added and tweaked Simple IO scheduler as it proved to be the fastest one for this device
* Added tun.ko and cifs.ko
* Added camera flicker bug fix
* Cleaned up some more debug ****
* One or two small tweaks
#3
* Completely rebased kernel
* No more blackscreen
* Based on CM's source
* All the tweaks and ****s you've been known about from me
* Franco magic?
* POWER
* BATTERY
* Well...I'll write a more detailed post later, too busy at the moment =)

- Vsync on/off toggle added. This is what I need be checked, I don't know if it's working: run this command via terminal or init.d script
Code:echo "0" > /sys/module/mddi_hitachi_hvga/parameters/vsync_on
Echoing 0 it will disable vsync, echoing 1 will enable it.
- FSB/BUS overclock is lower, it will lower benchmarks a bit, but you won't notice any difference during normal usage and it will increase stability
- Obviously all the changes from the latest testing version are included

This is a complete re-written kernel from scratch featuring all the performance and battery patches from the last version plus a lot of new code.
The changes are all in my github so I don't need to list them here. I need you guys to test the kernel and tell me what is working and what is not working, which bugs do you find, if the performance is good, if battery is good etc etc. I don't want posts like "BLUETOOH HANDS FREE DOESN'T WORK FIX PLX" or "WAHT IS THE BAST GOVERNOR AND OC HALP PLOX" I want informative posts about your conclusions, if it kernel paniced what is your environment, your OC, your governor... stupid and non helpful posts will be ignored. If you want a good kernel, do you job as an user and help me too.
