[Q] System Data rogue memory
I know there are many posts about this, also had a similar issue before but I can't remember how I fixed it and other post's solutions aren't working for me.
In Disk Usage it shows 2430 MiB is being used by System data under storage card. I can't find where the rogue files are. I've used Root Explorer, System Analyzer, solid explorer and yaffs explorer to browse through the root directories with no luck.
Any help hunting down with what is taking up all this space would be greatly appreciated!
I figured it out! Although all 3 or 4 different file explorers showed no files in /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS, that was the culprit.
My suspicion was raised when I couldn't delete the folder in any of the explorers on my phone, via adb shell, or ssh. After some googling, I found this this post
which has a flashable zip to correct the permissions on the internal memory.
Flashed that, rebooted, used solid explorer to delete the TWRP folder and now my system data is at 415 MiB!
