Just had the "the phone is working but the screen won't power on" (Black Screen) problem. the fix to which after trying the light sensor, and multiple reboots, is this:
Simply drop the phone face down twice while seated, then try the power button again. As dumb as that sounds, it works, at least for me. Found a video on youtube.
The question is, how long have I got? The phone has been a bit balky of late, losing charge quicker, wifi hasn't worked well since the JB 4.2.2 update, now this. I love the phone, but I don't want it to fail before I'm ready, as it were.
Ideas? Experiences, (anecdotal and otherwise) anyone seen this before?
