I will stick to posting my opinion and/or correct flawed logic, but your statement warranted a special reply: we all have our issues.
You're a lot stronger than most people for recognizing them, and actively working to better yourself. Don't take anything I say *personally* -- it is aimed at a staement, not you as a human being. Keep up the good work!

My ''old'' LG Optimus 2x is a good example of a phone built as a brick that actually functions like one, too. ****tiest phone we've ever had (it has since progressed to being my then-girlfriend/now-wife's phone) and we're currently looking for a replacement (I'm not really into the phone market anymore, so that's going to be a hard decision). I've never, ever had an RMA in my life, though -- not with phones, not with computer parts, not with anything else. That's very fortunate, for I dread the day I have to go through such a process.

Is NVflash really that useful, I feel youd have to try some pretty insane stuff to hardbrick.
Does attempting to OC the OG DROID from a stock 550 MHz to 1238 MHz seem insane enough? Plus, I like having options.

NVFlash is an absolute lifesaver and offers complete peace of mind... It's not nearly as hard to hardbrick a device as you would think. For example, simply using the wrong app to "Reboot to recovery" on the Transformer series of devices can leave you in a position where you have to send the device to Asus to fix (unless, of course, you have NVFlash capabilities!).

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the importance of NVFlash, especially if you are constantly flashing new ROMs and kernels.

In my experience, the only people why think that NVFlash isn't needed are the folks that can't use it!

My two "CA" champagne Infinities have both had loose glass and clicking/crunching issues. Now going to go for a third, as soon as ASUS support responds to my ticket. Let's see how many it takes...

I have had ZERO issues with my TF700T Grey tablet. It's my first Android-based device, but I like it so far.

I hope to continue to enjoy this tablet for several years to come.

I had the weirdest of issues last night. After doing many different things, I opened TiBu - only to have the tablet freeze and then reboot.

Upon reboot, ALL of my accounts were ... gone. Not all apps, not all settings, just my accounts.

Needless to say, I was flabbergasted. However, it did motivate me to sit down and set up all of my accounts correctly - all of my Google, Google Apps (domains), Outlook.com, twitter, FB, LinkedIn, Exchnage, NetZero, GMX, Yahoo, DropBox, .... did I forgot anything? lol

Freaky thing is that my Dad has his Samsung Galaxy Tab from work with him, and *his* device dropped all of his accounts as well.

Anyone heard of some sort of remote procedure that can cause that across different devices of different manufacturers? (I seriously doubt it but had to ask.)
