Music Album Art, I noticed that too. I reported it before, but no interest from anyone. I recommend downloading an app called Album Cover Art Downloader. It works perfectly :)

Not sure whether on not to call this a bug report.

Changing the LCD density causes the recent apps screen to be off centered.

I use a 213 dpi as my density - it makes everything just a little smaller and crisper to me. Really helps with overall screen real estate too.

In terms of stability and using this as a daily rom, how is it? and how does this rom compare with other stock rom's?

ive been running this rom with few issues, main one being mms, sometimes all my messages are delayed then ill receive them all at once. just a few mins.

ive read into vmobile apn fix apparently we have to change the apn.xml (?) in the framework.jar or framework_res.apk
we need to get the xml from a working rom and insert it into this roms file. and our mms issues should be gone.

Besides that how is the rest of the rom? Stable enough for daily use?

DPI, I don't think its a good idea to mess with that at all on a Rom like this.


Message Spam, it must be your carrier, as I seem not to have this. Your network must be making changes or have a lot of traffic.

MMS, tell me what you flashed and how you flashed it.

Thank you for doing a zip for v6 super charger I'll be waiting!:D I did try to do it my self but I did get an error flashing through recovery I haven't tried to do it manually but I'll be patient for your fix :D

Not sure if this is directed at me, but all I flashed was this Rom, the sense5 lickscreen add-on and the kernel zip.


I've since installed gosmspro just to download mms and send just wish it sent mms through the message and not a link. I like that it integrates with stock message app and updates the pics there so I don't HAVE to use gosms to view just to download and send.

You'd think since apps can correctly download the pics it wouldn't be so hard to possibly create a downloader app, or get help from a app dev

Just wanted to post this up here, if anyone else wants to try it.

I made a kernel for this rom, using simonsimons34's github source (https://github.com/SickleKernels/android_kernel_htc_msm7x30). It's just his kernel, with a tweak to use the wifi firmware already in this rom.

I take no responsibility for any issues you have with your device. I don't plan on constantly updating this kernel, or even providing support. It's jsut a small project i took on today, and it's been working well, so i thought i'd share.

You can read all of simonsimons34's changes on github. He's done a lot of cleanup since sick kernel, and added the bfq scheduler.


TO INSTALL:
1. flash the sick kernel zip in recovery (can be downloaded in the original post of this thread)
2. fastboot the attached boot.img

I have no idea at this moment. Maybe the APNS I included in the rom don't have the APNS for your carrier.... :/ I'll look through the xmls


@Everyone else. Your supposed to flash the kernel zip corresponding to YOUR kernel that your using. I posted 2 different kernels. JMZ, and Sick Kernel.


So if you use Sick Kernel, you flash Sick Kernel zip after flashing the rom.

If you use JMZ's kernel, you flash JMZ Kernel zip after flashing the rom.



It just fills in the modules for the kernel in System/Lib/Modules

If you want to use sick kernel u have to fastboot flash and install the zip in your recovery :) Jmz kernel I believe doesn't have a zip to flash but sick kernel does if you still want to give that a try ;)

Same thing happened to me, I reboot it about twice, gave it some time to cool off now WiFi works. Also my mms is working completely perfect and I have the apm...not sure if that was fixed or even what the deal was but, thought I'd just add that. This one is amazing :D

    I should add that to the OP. Old HBoot only, as I see many people flashed the OTA.


    I have minor updates. I have the Sense 5 Notification bar, and V6 Supercharger makes the rom fly. I'm trying to deal with a couple of Force Closes that I have with apps now. Once those are fixed, I can release flashable zips. :)
