HTC One Dev Edition will not charge
All of a sudden today my HTC ONE Dev edition will not charge. I kept it on a charger for over 30 minutes. With 1 percent, I can power on but it will not charge and the red light does not flash or stay on. If the phone is turned off and plugged in, the red light will flash but not solid red when usually charging. I have tried to recalibrate battery by holding down volume up, volume down and power button with no luck. Tried turning off fast boot through the minimal battery left on phone and it did not work either. Any other suggestions?
Called HTC Warranty and they mentioned they will try to repair the product and if a repair is not possible they do not do replacements.
In their warranty statement, it does show replacement.
Has anyone else had this issue with HTC and their warranty department?
Thanks in advance XDA members.
PS, the support representative asked if I tried a different battery as if that was something easy to do.
Also the phone USB is not recognized by a computer.
