[Q] How to clear all misc data
On my tab 2 (p5110) I have installed CM 10.1 and recently updated to the nightly build 10.2. When I did that, not everything was working well from the update menu I selected 10.1.3-RC2. After rebooting, the tablet didn't restart and kept hanging in the startup showing the cyanogenmod startup screen for over an hour.
So I started the tablet in recovery mode and did a "wipe data/factory reset". This started the tablet as if it was new, this is what I wanted and CM 10.1.3-RC2 was installed. So I was happy, the tablet was working again.
But than I looked at the storage and saw that the internal storage is almost full and I had a total of 9GB of MISC data. Looking in the file system there is I think still a lot of old data. In the previous version I had 3 users on the tablet. In the file system there is a folder called: 0, which has a child folder 0, which has a child folder 0. I believe these have all old user data (correct me if I'm wrong). A small overview of this folder structure.
In those folders are also references to earlier installed apps. So I think there is a lot of old data that can be deleted.
So I started the tablet again in recovery mode and did a "wipe cache partition". Now I just have over 3GB of MISC data. But I still think that this all can be deleted.
So my final question is actually... How can I clear all useless MISC data from my tablet or format the tablet. It doesn't matter if I lose all data, the cleaner the better.
Oke, after some rebooting, installing the app "Clean Master" (and using it) I was able to delete all above mentioned folders. Now I only have 250MB of MISC data and 11,28GB of available space. I think I solved my own problem.
