This is my answer I put to your question over on Q&A:

Get S-off. The ICS ROM's don't flash well with 1.5 s-on. In fact, almost every person who flashes an ICS Rom that is 1.5 s-on has this issue. Getting s-off is pretty easy to do now. See the stickies in the GSM or CDMA development thread (depending on your phone).

Can you please post the link to the instructions or guide? As i said, all i have done on the device so far is gained root access trough HTCDEV.com. So it is just "unlocked". What should i do then? and is it one of these: http://xdaforums.com/show...3#post24530433

Tried some most popular ICS roms and any of then not comfortable for me. Still on aamikam gb rom and inpatiently waiting for sprint based icf by aamikam!

Well then this is the best and closest you're gonna get Bro. It's a great ROM by the way and has steadily been my daily for some time now. Mik's Evo3D is gone, it busted. So he handed off this ROM and is no longer developing it. Plus he said earlier that he didn't think there was really anything else to add, as he Sprint-ified this ROM already.

I didn't know about the donation, that's awesome.

Yeah, I recall him saying he would anything extra from the official release. I don't expect any big changes though, unless Sprint has something up their sleeves.

Well I cheated for a few weeks, now back on this. Really forgot how smooth it is. It has been said, but deserves to be repeated: no ics sense from achieves the smoothness of this one. No contest. Oh you say, hasn't been updated in a while? That's because it doesn't need to be. I'm back home.

Anyone else unable to record videos on MikVirgin 1.01? Camera works but when switched to video it freezes and just closes with no error

Yes I have but I used the modified superwipe by chad. I heard it might have some issues though.

It freezes when in video mode. And setting isn't there. Just has settings for camera. Prolly just do another clean install idk

Anyone having problems with the dsp manager? It seems to not have any effect at all

The only time DSP Manager works in the ICS ROMs for me is with the coolexe mod (which this ROM does not have since it came out after mik's last update). You could try to flash it, but it is based on the newer VM leak so it might not work.

So the version of Facebook that comes with this rom is 1.9.3, and the newest (1.9.7) is supposed to make the app much faster. However I cannot update it from the market at all. I tried uninstalling from the market, but it still shows installed. I'm assuming this is because it's a system app. Can I uninstall it from Titanium safely? Titanium gives the warning, and I just wanted to make sure it wasn't tied to anything else before I delete it to force the market to let me update to the newest version.

That's strange, mine updates from the market fine but you can uninstall using titanium or delete it using root explorer, restart and then install from the play store.

    Ok guys... i was able to mess around with all the VM leak apks and rebuild all of them... that means this rom got the usual treatment... i didnt clean out languages yet cuz i think i will be making a GSM version of this rom also... so until i do that im leaving it multilang.

    This ROM is based on the Shooter VM leak that came to us 1st from mdeejay over at rootzwiki and later as an RUU from football. (i used the RUU in this though)
    This rom is also semi based on the Sensation ICS sense 3.6 rom with added apps from that rom.

    MikVirgin is the name... cuz its really too funny to pass on. Especially since a lot of guys got stuck with the tag "virgin" in their phone after flashing the leaked firmware.

    I wanna give a quick thanks to Chubbzlou and Dropzeroc that got me going on this ICS... it was fun working with u guys... and im sure we not close to done yet.
    Thanks to Newt for his help with anything ICS related that he needed to show me or help me with.
    And another quick thanks to all of the Mikfamily thats running around themikmik these days (devs, themers, modders and users).
    One last thanks to all that were involved in making LeeDroid tweaks (sensation version).

    I'm pretty sure i left a few things out... but this rom as far as speed, functionality and overall option is pretty much way above RC level... but i'm not done with it yet... so i want it to be RC for now.

    I'm going to load thus up myself.... Just so you all know because I'm sure most of you don't... This man is the reason I started deving.. his mikfroyo Rom hooked me back in the day and I started talking to him off and on and he gave me a project to work on and boom I haven't stopped... In my book he puts out the fastest and stable stock roms you can get... His roms are the only roms I will flash by another dev. Great work as always mik ;)

    RC3 is up... i will update the OP here a lil later also...

    here is the quick changelog:
    • Fixed all SU issues (moved back to chainsd version also)
    • Fixed mic on KB (i forgot who to thank... will add the name later)
    • Exchange ActiveSync "Sync While Roaming" can now be enabled including push (update schedule) while roaming (thanks mikeyxda)
    • HTML message format unlocked in Exchange Mail settings (thanks mikeyxda)
    • Moved a lot of apks to system and odexed (to be more like stock rom)
    • Enabled EQ/SRS/Dolby in Htc Music player
    • Changed DSPManager to ICS version and fixed audio effects config to match
    • Reverted back to older EGL drivers (seems smoother to me)
    • Adjusted tweaks again
    • Added all missing HTC apps and widgets (the list is long... so ill skip typing it)
    • Added Multilingual support (kinda getting ready for GSM release also)

    thanks man... but its all a team effort.... no one dev knows it all... and if we all share the works... it can move forward faster.
    so yes... i did help some devs... but they helped me in the same way.... so its all a joint effort.
