Increase Space

Hi I installed this rom, however space is full right after installing it. Any idea's how to fix this?

Assuming you are running a class 10 SD card with ext4, delete as much app data as you can and download Link2SD from Play Store - IMPORTANT: pay up for the Plus version, it makes all the difference. Then, link all system app dalvik's to the ext4 and everything (i.e., all link possibilities) on your user apps to your ext4. Do not move user apps to the SD card unless they install there automatically - i.e., Link - Don't Move.
I have over 100 MB currently free on Internal (/data) and am running a 32 GB card with no issues - and the ROM is running stable and very well.
Try Root Booster (free version on Play Store) to increase speed/battery performance and CM Speed Booster for cleaning Junk and giving a little extra boost.
Hope this helps.
Cheers, S.

Download MiniTool Partition Wizard Free on to your laptop/Desktop: https://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html
Make a CWM backup and then backup (copy) all your files on your SD card to your Desktop/Laptop.
Insert your SD card into a card reader and put it in your computer.
Open MiniTool Partition Wizard Free and delete any partition (make sure it's your SD card, not a partition on your Desktop/Laptop)..
Then create partition Primary FAT32, (label it "Data") for most of the card (for example on a 16GB card use approx 11904 and on the remaining un-allocated part of the card create another partition Primary EXT4 (use a multiple of 512 - I use 4096 normally) and label it "Apps" You can do these two steps all at once and then hit apply to get it done.
Copy all your data back on to the card and re-insert it in the phone and proceed to download and open Link2SD and follow my previous post.
Alternatively: If you have room on your card you can boot into CWM recovery and format an ext4 partition there
You can Google all you need to know if you run into problems. Really recommend at least a class 10 card of 16GB minimum.
Good luck.

Cronmod

Anyway i found way to install cronmod script and all others that were previously working.i am using this rom whit 1gb internal memory now.

Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium

Hi how did you install cronmod? I installed Cronmodv2+ and have a ext4 sd partition, but i do not see extra space.

Update:

I modified this rom by using Linaro cm11 cronmod build and copied part of the init.d scripts into this rom's init.d folder. Perhaps I'll post the rom someday if anyone is interested.
I now have this rom working with extra space. Link2sd did not cut it for me since it resulted in issues when google play services updated.

Did you notice any decrease in speed or functionality using cronmod? If so, were you able to overcome it to bring it up to par or better? What modifiication to Linaro's cronmod file in the init.d folder or the init.d file itself, did you have to make, if any? Very interested because I know exactly what your referring to with regards to Google Play Services update ... Thanks very much, S.

Addendum: I installed the CRONMOD Linaro ROM init.d folder script and also flashed the script, both on a clean install - while it did what it purported to with respect to internal storage, the overall performance decreased to the setup I had with Link2SD Plus and while it did allow Google Play Services to update to the newest versions it created too many issues with force closes, black screen etc. The problem was that you couldn't limit the automatic update even using the tricks outlined in XDA as every time GMAIL updated or another dependent app, it automatically re-upgraded to the newest version of Play Services.
Conclusion: Don't bother with it - stick to Mardon's recommended Link2SD and invest in the Plus version as it has been very stable with better speed. Until CRONMOD is updated, I wouldn't waste the effort. - S.

Terminal Emulator possible fix

Hi guys,

when i open terminal emulator no input window appears. Only icon in status bar and "Terminal is running" words
in notifications. Is it a bug or I am doing something wrong?

Clear data and cache for Terminal Emulator and re-boot your phone, particularly if the app has been updated. May have to uninstall the update and then clear data, cache and re-boot. May also have to perform the same action on APEX launcher if you run into issues with it.
I ran into the same issue for Terminal Emulator and this resolved it for me..

CyanogenMod 11 modded for Galaxy Ace

CyanogenMod 11 is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
