I'm using stock(kernel, recovery,Rom) with root and s-off.

I'm quite sure that there is no other way to do this, your best bet is most likely ElementalX.
If that's really something you don't want to 'HAVE' to do then I would wait and see if someone else may know of a way. All though correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that is a kernel function and I highly doubt that there is any alternative way to do it.
