[Q] Google play store error 491 with CyanogenMod 9.1 Beta 5 for S5830i

Install hotspot shield manually by using other sources rather than play store… try to connect it with the server and then after that open play store and try to downoad any app …. i hope ur issue will be resolved.. close hotspot shield after doing that… :cowboy:

"handyflo" has already installed my google apps package, and it's working.
The error was caused by missing DRM libraries and binaries.

However I appreciate your efforts =)

Yes just use the mentioned small or big gaps package and the playstore will work again. Ein Grosses Dankeschön aus Deutschland geht nach Österreich zum nightly coder

    Yes, it will work. But you should check if you are having the same problem.

    Look into your /system/lib/ folder and search for "libdrmframework_jni.so".
    Do the same with your /system/bin/ folder and search for "drmserver".

    If both files are missing, then this Google App Package will fix your Error.
    The libraries and binaries are also working for Totoro.

    PS:
    Just wait a few minutes, I'm currently writing/posting a new/better version.

    This guide did not help ether, I tryed both methods without sucess, still error 491.
    Is this maybe a ROM bug, because some user seems to be the same issue as well mentioned in:

    Even the playstore fix mentioned in:
