Hey I'm on vanilla rootbox ROM and I want to flash this tweak and I read in the op that if u on aosp then I need to get the update.zip file and flash that one. Is that true or can I just flash the latest one 1.7

I have an odd question:

So i'm about to temp boot into EL29 to update my prl. When I boot back into the temp CWM, I have to flash my ROM zip again to get my phone to boot again. Would it be okay to flash 1.7 in the same session after i flash my ROM? Hypothetically, I think it would be. But just wanted to ask just in case.

Yeah that will be fine

yup, worked just fine. Just had to restore my contacts but all my settings were kept in tact (wifi passwords, text msgs, launcher, ect).

EDIT: I thought you didn't need to flash the gapps zip after the temp boot, but I had to. My gapps were missing when I rebooted back. Otherwise, I'm back up and running... with the latest and greatest!

This script, when flashed, very noticeably lowers my battery's lifetime. It just plain drains faster, whether it's idle or not. I've noticed this on numerous ROMs, so I imagine it's a general thing. What scripts are you using that could be affecting battery life in such a negative way? Could they possibly be separated out, so the base is battery-friendly and then there are other boosts that are perhaps more performance-oriented that are not as battery-friendly? Thanks, and keep up the awesome work!

I've run numerous AOSP-based 4.1 and 4.2 ROMs. I'm currently running blackbean, which has AOKP+CM features. I've run AOKP 4.1 as well as 4.2. I've run CM 4.1 as well as 4.2 though not for that long. Some of them I haven't run without the tweaks, though when I do, I have noticed that my battery power definitely drains more with the tweaks than without.
