Archos 7HTV2 super bricked
Need help, I have the Archos & Home Tablet V2 ( out of warranty) I bought it second hand. I was messing about with it and tried to flash an update using the normal method of placing it in the root of the SDcard when during the flashing, it shut done, I didn't realise the power cable had come out and not enough battery power (big noob mistake). I now have a hard bricked tablet which won't go past the test when using the RKandroid tool for the RK281x chips. I contacted Archos but they said I had to send it back to be replaced. Not going to happen since i ONLY PAID £45 FOR IT and they wanted to charge me well over that to replace an out of warranty device. Other than picking an open window for it, does anyone know of any way to fix it. It seems that the boot/recovery part of the nand is corrupt so when I try to place it into recovery by putting the power switch to lock position and then resetting it I get a black screen, it DOES install on my PC's, tried win7 x64 and a laptop which has win 98 x32. The only drivers it accepts are the rockchip rk281x drivers though.
