Question APP's, management

Once that I'm a "noob" in Android, it's possible that one (ok, it can be more than one... ) of the Experts from the forum
publish what each APP manage on the phone?

Yesterday I turn on Navigon and it works but I did'n get Sat signal. Its started to work when I unfroze "Maps" .

I thought that App's manage the hardware independently, without need to interact with others.

How should I know with what I'm messing with, when I uninstall or I freeze some App ?...

Thanks in advance, and once more sorry for the bad english

AFAIK installed apps on android usually independent each other, except some apps which came default in ROM Or apps which designed as plug in or add ons.
You should remove them without any problem.

Soo... if we're not prisoners of the ROM's we are of the "exclusive" apps that works like a plugin or as a driver???
