Are any of the various camera fixes still required under Milestone 5? Is so, which one is best?
I did a full restock, and the the camera seems to work just fine for me. I didn't install any 'fixes'.

Did you wipe the dlvik cache?
I also wipe the regular cache and dlvik then reboot.
When you reboot wait about 3 minutes BEFORE you try to go into the tablet (swipe to unlock). Give things time to load up.
F.Y.I.
For those of you wanting to restore the T-Mobile Modem after flashing Milestone 5:
Don't flash the TMO-Modem.zip from Overcome -- it won't work because the CWM updater script is not intended for MTD...
Instead get the TMO_modem_update.zip from >> HERE << (linked from the CM9 thread)
battery life seem good on this build, can hangon 12-14 hours on moderate use (after calibrate).I took the plunge. I installed Milestone #5.
Follow these directions. http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1153449&page=3
I was already on Overcome ROM.
It installed quickly. It seems to be working nicely. I installed some of my apps, no issues.
I am currently at 41% battery life with wifi on (screen off)...will see how the battery life is.
***Can the ROM CHEF please add a default file manager. Oi FileManager is pretty good because it can read mnt/sdcard (external sdcard)
Ok, I forgot but how do I turn off the soft menu lights, they stay on the entire time...the white soft buttons for home/search/back/menu
thx
I think in about 1 month this ROM will be 99.99% solid. This is impressive.
i was just wondering if i would need to flash Humbero's kernel or just overcome? i'm about to restock and just wanna make sure i'm getting things right. hehehe
Restock mean you have to Flashing your Android device to Official Manufacture ROM/Firmware. For Gtab P1000 you can Restock it with GB Safe Stock V5 from team overcome, just follow overcome official site for doing thisI will try the # 34 and I restarted the tab, kernel humberos
do not quite understand what the restock, someone tells me I'm in the # 31
sorry for my English

Will you understand if you read what I posted here?

But remember you have to flash humberos kernel for your device at the very end.
(yours is P1000N?)
this rom is not official, it means that you wont find it on AOKP's download pages, you wont find it on their github, and you wont get any help asking them about this build. it is not supported by TeamKang (creators of AOKP), and may never be. do not attempt to download any of the roms on their website / forums and flash them on to a GSM GalaxyTab. downloading roms built for other devices will cause you great heartache and either turn your tablet into an expensive brick, or you will have to restock / reflash your tablet.
