[Q] Flashed ParanoidAndroid on Xperia J. No idea what happened
I've flashed a custom ROM for the first time. So, my Xperia J's bootloader in unlocked, phone is fully rooted. And I tried to flash zoldyk's ParanoidAndroid from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2220631
So I flashed it by using the zip file in CWM. When it finished and I wiped all data, cache and dalvik cache and I rebooted it. It had a red LED. It didn't run. I thought I ruined it, so I thought I should flash boot.img from CWM again to try to restore stock Xpera firmware. Guess what happened, when I flashed boot.img, I didn't go to CWM, my ParanoidAndroid worked!
Why did that happen? Can someone please explain? Now, the second issue, my phone is now detected as XPERIA TIPO, not J. And the icons and menus are too small. I don't know where to change the resolution, there's ParanoidAndroid settings but that's just to change the UI between phone, phablet and tablet.
Moreover, how can I get it detected as Xperia J?
Now I flashed lozohcum's ParanoidAndroid. It works fine except I can't access the PlayStore. Also, I noticed it hasn't read my SIM card yet. Wut?
