yes but this is a fix for the zoom.
What I was talking about is the miui browser that gives fc when you try to use it. I'm not able to open it. The fix you quote maybe is usefull for maxthon browser that has not pinch zoom.

No problem, That fix should not be at the old post if still is needed. Not your fald.

After fix you need also the fix for zoom.

wanne try to install the new rom the old way...
( flash luks krnal, wipe, rom, flash dooms bootmanager/kernal cmw, and wifi fix )
just to see the diff. between the 2 way compare the speed and handeling...cus i remember( hopefully) that the old way you haven more ramm. when all is installed...now i only have around 40- 80 and before i had over 100

do you always implement those 2 copy and pasting in system/etc?

Not always this works but on this rom it works great. The low ram memory i did not see. Importanted thing for me whas the battery life that is so much better and the internet speed.

Did you find the battery also better?

got it 2 hours and 33 min running with12% batt. down with that i drove for about 1 hour so no using it..further testing it

tryed myself to put stuff together..
used the dialer from darkcobalt ore neonGT..looks nicer
the status bar from the default them from Oodie(new 1 )
and love the glacy dark with raindrops statusbar ..
but this one looks hot to ..its a shame i dont have a hot GF like you have ass wallpaper

gonne reinstaal new romm old way/ put in your tweaks in system etc and tryout your new theme...maby screwing it up a little but devenetly keeping that wallpaper..

I am running BB.54. Basically since being on the stock firmware to unlock the bootloader I havent changed anything. I flashed the kernel and rom from the original post and that's all.

I have done this and it still doesnt work.

The steps I took were to extract mms.apk from Lukes Miui Rom. I then placed it onto the SD card and then copied it across to system/app. The original mms.apk from oodies was overwritten.

I then dropped into xrecovery and ran fix permissions.

Still no go though.

So I am now wondering about 9Lukas5 suggestion. For that though I need some more guidance as I am not sure of the files that he refers to.

The continued help is appreciated.

if you want to use oodies newest rom......1.11.4....
try copie-ing the mms.apk from HIS(oodies and not luk's) 1.10.28 place this version on your sdcard..
copy to system/app..delete old mms.apk and then past new mms.apk...
fixpermission with rootxplorer (long press on the mms.apk/select permissions and set to ...first row all, second row top and last row non. then reboot ...when reboot you can check in settings sms if the smscenter had got the wright settings..

Flash another baseband , you can always come back to BB 54 if you don't like it .
I don't thing GB will work well with BB 54 . You'll atleast need a baseband above 58 .

I have reflashed the baseband (and then the FXP kernel again as the BB flash put the standard SE one back). I have also reflashed the Rom and your fix from the OP.

I have verified that I am running baseband 67 via the About option in settings.

I still cannot send SMS though.

I am hoping that 9Lukas5 can come up with some assistance on this. I really don't want to go back to CM7 if possible.

Did you try a conversation apk from a stock rom ore based stock rom? I am using that and have no problems. On baseband 71 with doomkernel for this rom.

With all GB roms Ive used .67 because it "seems" to have better call clarity, I use the attached fix to make sms work. I also found that baseband 61 works as well, and If I remember right doesnt need the sms patch for 67, but sms wont work with 65 at all for me. Flash the attached file thru recovery no need to wipe anything or fix permissions.

Almost forgot, this is not my file I cant remember where I got it but Im not trying to take credit for it Ive been using it for awhile, hope it works, if it doesnt then flash the fix one more time sometimes it takes 2 tries. Dont let a little thing like this keep you from this great rom!
