my in call Bluetooth audio has gone south today; completely scratchy, and in audible...

too bad because everything else works perfectly for me..unfortunately, I need this as a phone...

Same here. Callers say I sound pretty good, but to me they all static. I love this ROM best of the AOSP for me, not a fan of the overdone AOKP.

Deciding keep this or go back to cleanROM ?

Going to re install Liquid Smooth again now, try out this new uNeak kernel. I have been going back and forth with Touchwiz ROM's, and AOSP ROM's, so far I liked Liquid the best, I just had poor battery life, and bluetooth audio issues. I can deal with bluetooth for now, but hopefully this new kernel helps battery.

No offense but AOKP just had too many weird options, and I didn't like the status bar toggles always on a second page, and just little things that bugged me.

I like Touchwiz for the S-Pen apps and widgets, but hopefully I can find similar note writing apps on the Play Store ? But all the TW ROM's were just a hair bit laggy or bloated feeling.

I am trying out the NEAT kernel, and use the Play Store app to control it. So should I delete the Performance .apk that the ROM installs with ? This NEAT kernel overrides that ?

I believe call audio has gone to crap since flashing the kernel since I just had my job call me and I called them back and both times they couldn't hear me.

Edit: i turned off the audio enhancements in the uneak app and it worked fine

Thanks for the news. I thought this ROM was dead, due to news in Face Book, of the team splitting up, and some making a brand new ROM named Carbon ?

I like Liquid Smooth a lot, just hope it sees updates more regularly.

no, what happens is when you make or receive a phone call, the incoming caller is totally distorted, scratchy, and in audible
supposedly a cm10.1 issue that is being worked on..

LiquidSmooth is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project.

We are dedicated to providing Android users with smooth, stable and fast Roms. We start with a fast, and lightweight modified AOSP base, and then add the features you crave!

Please feel free to look at and use our code on LiquidSmooth GitHub.

We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to AOKP and Xylon for parts of their code that we have incorporated.

A huge shoutout to codeworx and kejar31 for their work on the t0 platform!

Special thanks to our friends Imoseyon and Franco for their kernels as well!

While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!

Downloads of our LiquidSmooth can be found on our goo.im page or in the goomanager app. You can find us by browsing to liquidsmooth or by searching for compatible roms for your device. Just about any Google Apps package for JB 2.1 should work, though we've provided a link below if needed. Suggested GApps are linked right in goomanager as well. Goomanager will now notify you of upcoming LiquidSmooth updates as well!

If downloading via the goo.im page, please be sure to know which device you are using prior to downloading. All files are listed according to the specific device code name. We cannot be responsible for what happens if the wrong files are flashed to your device! We recommend using the goomanager app and searching for a compatible rom if you are unsure.

Please verify that the device listed on the download links below is your device. Do not flash any files if the device does not match!!!

    Like our work?

Many hours have been spent bringing you this release.
You may show your appreciation and support for our project by considering a small donation.

build is available again. i had to pull the CDMA version and accidentally pulled yours too. it's been that kind of day. sorry guys.

We've pulled all beta3 downloads for the moment. Somehow Nova Prime ended up mixed into the build, rather than Nova Free. Obviously this is completely unacceptable so please bear with us while we refresh our builds and get Beta 3.1 out to you as soon as possible. We'll also be incorporating the latest device tree fixes as some very new and interesting ones have entered the scene today.

Team Liquid would also like to extend our sincere apologies to the TeslaCoil Software and ask all of you to support their work.

Thanks for your good work. I hope there will have per-app dpi support. :highfive:

Edit: I want to ask what's the meaning of "Fixed mako ANYkernel support", is this means I can flash TW kernel to this rom? thanks

no Mako is the codename for nexus4 ...Sadly you cannot flash TW kernels on this rom :/ The per app dpi engine, while it is awesome, is a Paranoid Android staple and you essentially have to use their base in order to get it to work properly. Its a HUGE hook in the source and although im pushing for per-app engine in our ROM im feeling a lot of resistence from other members of my team..This rom is designed with speed, stability and feature richness in mind first and foremost. It is the only AOSP 4.2.1 linaro 4.7 -O3 rom available for Note II afaik.
