[Q] Can't write to my USB memory stick.
I recently bought OTG USB cable so that I could use my usb stick or external hdd for additional storage (since we dont have an external mini sd card slot). When I connect my usb stick (FAT32), it appears in settings-->storage properly. The ES File Explorer app also shows a new folder storage/usbdisk... So everything looks fine. But I can only read to it, not write... the app gives me the error "failed to copy file". Also happens if I try to move something with the usb stick.
Now, I've tried quite a few things. I tried root explorer, and just like es file explorer, it also cannot change the permission to rw (now it's stuck on ro). I tried different apps (stickmount and USB OTG Helper), and both didn't make it work. They did however, make my hdd (NTFS) work, as added some other folders that had the proper permissions, because without those apps, my hdd would show up empty in the usbstick folder with es file explorer.
USB diagnoses app gives me a positive response too...
What in the world could be the problem???
