In the 4-Tab Lockscreen, what does the "EDT" do? It just freezes my phone at a black screen with the soft buttons illuminated to full brightness. I have to pull the battery in order to restart.
Also, my Wifi Hotspot/Tethering automatically disables itself after a few minutes of inactivity, is there any way to stop this from happening? It never did this on the ICS rom i was using before.

Its do that you can set a custom app. You can set it up by going into. Settings/edt or tweaks/lockscreen settings. As far as the tethering goes, I've noticed it does that to me on any rom, if I'm not mistaken there may be a setting for timeout. I don't tether very much though so not sure. This rom is rock solid though I can tell you that.

hey, i just flashed weapong2x last night and im loving it so far!
coming from using the cm7 nightlies almost the past year its much better improvement!
Couldnt last a whole day without having to charge my phone a couple of times. So far with this rom, ive used my phone off the charger the past couple of hours and it still at/almost 96+ percent!
What i dev love about it is that i got my LG cam app back!!... I had almost forgotten how good my camera really was b4 i got rid of the stock rom.
But 1 thing that kinda annoys me. How do you change the dock icons? I use handcent and want to get rid of the stock messaging app, same with contacts.

If you're using tw4 launcher you go into the app drawer hit menu button select edit and put/remove what icons you want there

Do i need a apk killer or app manager? My cm7 nightly didnt but when i use to use stock gingerbread i did.
Also, how do u set it to save everything on the external SD? somestuff get saved on the internal and it confuses me

App killers are cancer and useless.

Yes. There are numerous threads that explain how to do what you are looking for. Your in the right section wrong thread though. Look for how to root/unrooted in development.

I was asking here because I need to unflash and I have this rom. And apparently, I didn't even flash it right because I followed some other tutorial. I was hoping to be pointed in the correct direction since I don't have internet on my computer and my phone's connection has been throttled, so I'm having enough trouble getting around the net when I know what I'm looking for.
Plus, I might need to send my phone for a replacement tomorrow since I have a trip on Tuesday and I'm not sure I'll be able to get everything done in time.
Any help would be really appreciated. I'd love to go on my trip with a new phone, fully rooted and correctly flashed.

I know the feeling I'm throttled to with no wifi. Anyways all I can say is find the nvflash to stock rom that's in the dev section. If you can't find it download the stock 2.3.3 rom, install and delete all the root apps and the binaries from system/bin and apps from system/app

Hello everyone! I have been working hard to bring you a modified version of the official 2.3.3 Gingerbread that LG has recently released to us. A lot of time and effort went into the making of this rom and rest assured that only more features will follow this initial release. Please enjoy!

Instructions on flashing
1. Download zip and place on sdcard
2. Reboot into clockwork recovery
3. Perform a factory reset
4. Navigate to mounts and storage and format /system
5. Choose Install zip from sdcard
6. Navigate to rom zip and flash
7. Reboot

THINGS TO BE AWARE OF
1. Not all of EDT Tweaks features have been implemented yet. If it's grayed out, it's because it's not available.
2. Miui lockscreen highlights green ONLY when charging, fully charged and low battery
3. Equalizer on Miui lockscreen does not animate
4. You can set ANY CUSTOM APP you want to mms handle on Miui lockscreen AND 4-tab lockscreen.
5. Customize TouchWiz 4.5 dock by going to app drawer > menu button > edit > drag/drop > save

I'm about finished with 2.6 now. Changelog is as follows
~ Added init.d support to stock kernel
~ Custom scripts - auto zipalign + set permissions at every boot (/data/app)
~ Adjusted minfree settings via init.d script (better ram management/more free ram) < This should really help stabilize things
~ Reverted back to stock cam (sick of ppl complaining of camera; flashable for LG cam will be provided in the OP)

Gonna run it for awhile just to make sure it's golden. Should be posted sometime today or tomorrow though.10Working on another update guys. I'm rebuilding a new EDT Tweaks for it. New options so far include the ability to toggle the CRT animations on and off (maybe you like off but hate on, etc). I also have the Miui top battery bar working (probably my fav Miui feature). Update will also include a new style color picker for the clock/battery. Pretty cool stuff.10
