Maybe I should re-root with gfree. Is that possible? I'm pretty sure I'm not SIM unlocked.

Well, the title of one of the major gfree threads says, in part, "Check this out even if you're rooted." So I would assume so. As far as I know, gfree works on devices with both eMMC types, whereas root.sh only works on the original.

Just read it. Theoretically, I guess that would give me a SIM unlock. Unless I'm missing something??

You got it.

Gfree has several commands, one of which allows SIM unlock.

Agreed about Jack_R1. He is as blunt as a sphere and has little tolerance for laziness or stupidity, but his info is always spot on.

I've rooted 3 Glaciers and I've always used gfree and Visionary. I swear by Visionary. The only softbricks I ever had were my own fault and were not Visionary related.
