If the ROM is already fast by itself, does it really need more optimizations?

Also the circle battery mod didn't work for me at first. But on the 2nd install, it worked fine. Not really sure what I did differently, but it's set now.
didn't work for me even after a second flash...

Just wanted to post my battery findings: I've never been able to get over 3 hours screen on time, until this ROM. Initially, as I posted earlier, I was having trouble after a few days with a bit of lag showing up so tried a few other other ROMs before flashing MiNCO v7 again along with Franco's kernel 134.

All I can say is I'm absolutely amazed, and this is only the first day after flashing. Can't wait for it to settle in and the battery to improve even more!

To get the circle battery mod working for some reason, you have to change the colour of the notification bar text. After it changes (I selected green), the circle mod will appear, then you can change it back to blue!

Check out the screen shots of my battery life to see proof

Use Titanium Backup to delete Google Talk first, then install Hangouts.

I don't know... how I didn't even consider that. Ahaha, thanks.

Default daydreaming->clock->settings fc

this appears to be an issue on multiple AOSP roms, something google might have messed up, found this fix-- i'm trying now to find the APK he references as the included link dosen't work. if it fixes it i'll edit this post, if not, ill post a logcat

Daydream clock settings FC fix from baldwinguy77 on rootzwiki.com

Okay, my hunch was right. Lol sorry it took so long, had to do a couple of things while my build was...well building. Anyways, it turns out Google (for whatever reason) decided to use a bunch of proprietary files for the software in 4.2 as opposed to AOSP files. When you click on the settings in Daydream, it goes looking for the proprietary Clock class instead of the AOSP one which is included in this ROM.

In short, this ROM has DeskClock.apk (the AOSP version) when it needs to have DeskClockGoogle.apk (proprietary). If you have root, just download it from here: http://d-h.st/QJd -> delete /system/app/DeskClock.apk -> push the downloaded file to system/app/ and make sure permissions are set correctly. Don't worry, it's still the cool shiny new clock, except it will make Android happy

Forgot to mention, you'll have to reboot after you replace the old apk. Also, if you see this OP, I would remove the AOSP DeskClock from the build and add DeskClockGoogle.apk - just another weird proprietary Google file mixup.

Just flashed this Rom. It's really close to stock with some customizability. Really nice along with Franco r137.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app

Nvm my reboot issues must have been a Franco r134 problem. r139 is perfect so far.
