Two questions:
Is there *ANY* case or skin that covers the Back, Home, Menu, Search keys but leaves thm functional?
Is there *ANY* hard case that is flus along the bottom edge (not raised) so that it does not interfere with pressing the buttons from the bottom side?
The Otterbox case is terrible. The frame that covers the top half has a ridge that blocks your fingers from pressing the buttons without also touching the screen and making accidental selections. The clips also overlap with the clips on the bottom case causing a gap between the two halves of the phone. I learned to align a screen protector along the keys and then lay flat after seeing a previous one interfere with the operation of my home button but the Otterbox protector has no notch for the camera and the film will bisect its view like a bifocal lens if you don't align by the top instead. It probably shouldn't cover the camera at all.
The bottom half should have been a replacement battery cover for rigiditiy without being too thick. It should have had press-through buttons for the volume keys and something similar for the main keys would have salved my complaint about the frame blocking access. So far, I have not seen any protector frame that is flush between the two bottom corners (corners can still be raised/protected).
