Hello fellows,
I was trying if i could make the LatinIME for qvga more usable (for english users mainly)
Modified version1:
So i have relayed out couple of keys
q is moved to 3rd row from 1st row
and shift key is moved to 4th row from 3rd row.
have a look at the images below for the difference
The reason for moving q down is z, x and q are least used alphabets in English
one drawback with this mod is quick entry of No.1 is with q
Modified version2:
If people don't like changing "QWERTY" then i can keep the layout
and just make row2 and row3 keys bigger by expanding in to space on either side.
Idea here is to make keys bigger so typing could be easier.
Fact that it is being a small screen you never going type the same way as in the key board,
So I stick to the same "QWERTY" order but keys will be distributed well over the space.
For example see the 3rd picture
Do you guys want such layout or you don't care
let me know what you think
