if so you should read this thread
is not so clear from your posts what you have if so take care you are just one step to brick phone by flashing a lot of bootloaders BE CAREFUL when flashing bootloaders if you flash an incorrect bootloader ---> bricked phone and only service tools save your phone also use a laptop to protect from power surge problems

LOL,Thanks dude and yes,he has to go through threads before experimenting anything.
Shooting in the dark would only leave you with a 400$ paperweight.

I am trying my best to sort things out for him but can't help more than that coz I am using a diff device.
He should have posted that in "Samsung Captivate" forum.
