(soz cant give a seperate score with stock cause i did all these updates one after the other)

Dunno if you also meant nightlys, but from 200 and up they are stable as a rock to me, and better suited for daily use than the stable release.

Flash:
With ClockworkMod Recovery you now can boot into recovery (power+vol down)
Here you wipe data and wipe partition and after that you click "flash ROM from SD-card" or something like that, find the ROM on your SD-card and hit it.

This was actually the single, most informative, most well explained post I've seen everywhere. This should be added to the first post, a simple line saying, if you just bought the phone, you should do this, then this, then that and you're good to go.

Question with CM7

Hi guys, I have 3 of these phones (My GF, my brother and one for me), I rooted the 3 phones installed CWM, that's all good. I flashed MIUI just to check it out (looks beautiful but I'm used to CM7) then I flashed CM7 on my phone and it's working fine.

Then I flashed CM7 on my GFs phone, GAPPS and video-enabled GTALK but I can't find the Market (I DID FLASH GAPPS, WTF??!!). Then I flashed MIUI on her phone just to see if the Market would be there and IT IS.

Any ideas? why does the Market NOT show on CM7 if I flashed it?. Like I said my phone is fine (Market, GAPPS, GTALK, everything) but in my GFs phone Market just does not appear (200% sure I flashed GAPPS).

miui rom istalled...but for now the stock rom is a bit most stable..

if the wifi signal disappears during a call, the phone crashes

hi,

a lot of users are experimenting with ICS on their o2x.
i am one of then. i tried smartflashing rerooted my phone a.s.o. but stil it doesnt seem to work as it should and other users don't Report errors like mine. is there a tool probaly from lg that can detect hardware errors? or is there a developer among us who can make such a tool?
or is this Impossible to make?

when there is such a tool could it be mentioned in the List?

On stock rom, dial: 1809#*990#

Press the first option, "Device Test". There you can find test-programs for every piece of hardware in the phone. (I'm aware you mentioned ICS, but that's irrelevant if you're looking for hardware defects.)

    There are 2 bootloader/partition layouts present for the LG P990 (Optimus 2X).
    1. Older Froyo/GB
    2. Newer ICS​

    Here are the following ways to change partition/bootloader.​

    1. All-In-One P990-Toolkit
    To change to and from the 2 partition/bootloader. EASIEST OPTION.​

    2. NVFlash toolkit
    For changing your partition to Stock ICS format. Or reverting back to GB/Froyo format with CMW preinstalled.​

    3. Full Brick Repair with CM10
    For reverting back to old GB/Froyo partition and bootloader with CMW. It also comes with CM10.​

    4. NVFlash resize

    Just for changing partition sizes of your internal memory. Instruction in the thread.​
