I am guessing Bluetooth to be partially fixed....

Actually, I'm working on the libaudio to fix recording and maybe Bluetooth A2DP.
I'm planning to fix WifiAP and USB notification too.

I'm looking also to fix video codecs (omx libraries etc...).

All that will take several weeks again ... patience.

When new hardware is fixed (BT, libaudio, camera or WifiAP), I will release Alpha7 (android 2.3.7) , patience because as you know, I work on cm7 on my (little) spare time.

I really don't know ... maybe there is an option in the settings .. I will look closely and tell you if I find something interesting.

I just want to know one thing, does calling actually work on this rom because people have reported it not working.

hey guys I've got a problem n I wanna know if its common for all or I'm the only one facing the problem...

I installed swype and after every reboot, I need to switch it on again...
also, the default settings for software's also loose their values on reboot...

can anyone tell me a solution?

also the holding down the menu button doesn't pull up the search like it did on froyo. is there any way to activate that?

Oh wow! I never expected all that in just one update!

Well, as ever, take your time and don't settle for anything less than perfection! Will be eagerly awaiting any and all news about progress.

And just a side note, can people please consider donations? I have friends who heavily develop and the donations help so much!!

move swype to internal memory
check it's status in settings>applications
it must be installed in phone memory mif not change it

Problem ?

Dunno if a bug or what... sorry if reported earlier.. my microphone doesn't work for any app (like voice actions.. voice recorder talking tom cat or any app requiring microphone)... Although voice calls are working.. so no problem with microphone of course as it is working for calls..

in cyano settin>performance>cpu use ondemand profile or conservative :)

There is no solution and it's a problem for all. This rom is in alpha stages so you should expect these sort of bugs.

    This thread is here to let you know how is the port of CyanogenMod 7 and to discuss about it.

    Actually, the CM7 port is in alpha stage, until all the hardware is working. The ROM is very stable and can be used everyday, but you could miss some features that are not yet (fully) working like bluetooth.

    Not 1-2 weeks but 3-4 months... but you know, it's not easy to immigrate in a new country so I'm very busy to prepare my family and myself for the move.

    Some news about Alpha9 :
    - Camera : you can now use a barcode reader or any app that requires camera. It should work.
    - Video recording is working with some restrictions : not using hardware codec but software. Audio is not recorded but may be fixed soon.
